Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any movie or TV show you want to.





Guidelines


• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

CATEGORY: One Screencap Make 5 different icons using only 1 screencap. You can use whatever else you want, textures, text, decoration but ONLY 1 screencap can be used for the icons.

Replace Face - You must your character's face with something that is not a face. Something like flowers or an animal head, etc.
Splash of Pink - Your icon must be all black and white with a splash of pink.
Times Three - Your icon must contain your character three and only three times.
Over the Shoulder - Your icon must show your character looking over their shoulder.
Blank Blocks - Your icon will contain elements of blocking (there should be at least three blocks) and one of those blocks should be completely blank/empty. Borders around your icon will not count as blocking.
Cool & Grungy - Your icon must be made up of cool colors (greens, blues, grays, purples) and have a grungy appearance.
Dramatic B&W - Your icon must be completely black and white, no color at all, and make use of dramatic lighting.
Painted - Your icon must have visiblly painted parts to it. The whole icon doesn't have to have a painted look but some part must look painted.
Dark & Vibrant - Your icon should have an overall dark appearance but it should also vibrant parts.
Muted Blue - The main color of your icon should be blue AND it must be muted in color.

I really like that replace face and splash of pink ideas! Actually, cool and grungy I can do with some effort, too, and it fits my two requested fandoms.

I've been on a Glee trip again thanks to youtube and amazon prime. :)

Thank you, mine is March 3rd. It sucked, but I never expect anything good from it though to be honest. We did do a Knott's trip a few weeks after when we were able, so that helped some. But thank you all the same.

So for the 1 switch, is that like stolen claim almost? Do you have any examples?

For you'd icon from something from another's claim. Would it be their claim they claimed? Or same exact screencap but done your way?

Yes - Stolen Claim is what I'm thinking of, I had saw it on this post a few months ago:

It was apparently part of Round 4, but fallleaves on the themes page didn't really explain it, but if I can try:

It would just be their claim they claimed - like if you picked The Mummy (1999) and I picked Godzilla (2014), I'd have to icon something from The Mummy, or one of the other claims from members.

Ah! Oh that was my former username, yeah I had thought of it but didn't know how to explain it correctly (usually happens with me lol). I had wondered why it sounded familiar. Thank you.

Haha no worries! I didn't really do that many of these 20in20/icon challenges over at LJ so I don't normally have theme suggestions but I stumbled upon that one when I wanted some Moon Knight icons and it got stuck in my head. ♥
