Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a special round, it will be a round dedicated to a year of movies and shows. Dedicated to 1999 movies/shows. So you'll be claiming a movie or show from 1999, if your unsure just ask. :)


1999 had a lot of great one's like: The Matrix, Fight Club, American Beauty, The Sixth Sense, Magnolia, Being John Malkovich, The Green Mile, Eyes Wide Shut, The Virgin Suicides, and Toy Story 2, Family Guy, The Sopranos, Futurama, Freaks and Geeks, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Angel and so on. As long s it was on or started in 1999, you are good to go. Let's have some fun.

• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

Would a show like charmed which started the year so was airing season 2 in 1999 count?

Hi! LOVE that one. As long as it was started or was on in 1999 it works, I'm not to picky on that.

Suggestions (optional): Background text, blended and mixed, sitting, sad, covered in text, levelled up, close and far, multiplied, recycle, matching in the background, green, crammed up, center but not quite, floating in the middle, weather, target, light it up, lips, scenery, annoyed, eating/drinking.

Category - The Odd One Out - Very odd crop, that you wouldn't normally think of, focusing on gestures, body parts or clothing more than on a claim's face.
Where you will post your icons: sweettreats.


Crammed up - Two or more people in one icon with a close crop.
Center but not quite - Classic center crop, but the subject can't look straight ahead.
Floating in the middle - Center crop but the subject must be floating in the middle of the icon, without touching the sides.
Light it up - Go for the dramatic shadows and blinding lights. Just go crazy, and have all the fun!
